Nunavut's premier has stripped the territory's justice minister of his duties over a remark that suggests women are partly to blame when they are assaulted during domestic disputes.On top of that, the justice minister has suggested that social services involvement in marital disputes are responsible for increase in divorces, because we all know that staying in an abusive relationship is so much more healthy than getting out of it.
I am glad the premier had the wherewithal to remove the minister from his position, but making him minister of languages and culture makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever.
