A Year-Long Issue

CCNC’s December 6th event in Toronto with the WRC “Stop Domestic Violence” posters from Beijing

It is two weeks after December 6th, but our work isn't anywhere near over.

Events such as the murder of a 16 year old girl by her father, the conclusion of the Pickton Trial, a father who abused his daughter online, a woman set ablaze by her husband (warning graphic content) amongst many others, makes it clear that the work we do to promote healthy, equal relationships is a year-long struggle.

As we approach the holidays, and a new year, let's take time to reflect on positive attitudes towards women, as well as focusing on positive male role models.

We would like to thank all of the organizations around the world that supported WRC this year, and who have pledged to continue to do so, as well as all of the WRC's around the world.
