Pakistani WRC Releases 1st Annual Report

Earlier this week our partners at the Pakistani White Ribbon Campaign released their first report outlining the number of reported violent incidences against women in Pakistan. The report also included information about the forms this violence can take and that

the reasons for violence against women are classified as social, economic and psychological. He added that in our society the main reasons were poor economic conditions of the household. He explained that women had to bear the burnt of men’s failure when they failed to make a decent living.
WRC Pakistan also used the report as an opportunity to discuss their strategies for ending violence against women in Pakistan which includes educating young men, expanding their campaign across Pakistan and partnership programs with local government.
