The White Ribbon Campaign of Vermont (WRCVT) will celebrate fathers working to end men’s violence against women at a pre-Fathers Day event on Friday, June 15 at 12 noon on the steps of Burlington’s City Hall. The campaign will also announce plans to expand its efforts through 2008.

The Vermont chapter of the White Ribbon Campaign was started in 2006 as a recognition that men needed to take a stand, in the wake of the murders of Michelle Gardner-Quinn and Laura Winterbottom. It has since involved a diverse group of nearly 400 men.
