Great News From Brazil

Yesterday we received notice that Brazil’s President, Lula Da Silva, signed into law legislation proclaiming December 6 the National Day of Men Working to End Violence Against Women in Brazil.

This law came about as a result of advocacy work undertaken by the Brazilian White Ribbon Campaign and its member groups in partnership with supportive members of the National Legislature. It’s great news and an excellent example for the rest of the world.
