NHL Dads Miss Home Life During Playoffs
It what may seem like a twist for hockey, usually plagued by reports of too much violence and acts of misogyny ESPN has a great article about dads in the NHL and how they miss their families during the long stretches away from home during the playoffs (and I am sure during the regular season as well).It's generally during this part of the season, during the playoffs, when you often hear of the need for sacrifice, the selflessness that is a requirement for the greater good of the team. Yet for players and coaches whose families are far away, it's hard to imagine a more apt term as they face the burden of making this struggle alone or, at the very least, feeling alone much of the time.Read the full article here on ESPN.com.
