Women of Rock (hosted by Montreal rock band Triggered Response and is the first of many annuals to come)is an evening featuring several rock bands either fronted by women or comprised of at least one female.
What's the idea behind this event? International Women's Day - March 8th. All profits are going to S.O.S. Violence Conjugale (a Montreal-based 24-hour hotline for abused women looking for help). Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance by contacting Triggered Response at triggered.response@gmail.com, www.myspace.com/triggeredresponse, or calling (514) 691-9275.
