There certainly can never be enough female-run open mixed-arts spaces in our hometown of Toronto.
Rolly's Garage, which provides a venue for so many local artists, from musicians, dancers, crafters, visual artists et al, is facing some tough critics in their community and has been forced to close temporarily.
What makes it all the more the disheartening is that this once local-car-garage-turned-cultural-community-center is in an area over-run with bars.
In order to appease the community they're in a unique position to support, Rolly's needs a bit of renovating to re-open.
Please help out Rolly's Garage by signing up with the Aviva Community Fund and voting for Rolly's.
