The 6th Annual Ginoong Philipinas, or Mr. Philippines USA, pageant is taking place this month, on the 20th of July, in Los Angeles California. The proceeds of this very unique event will benefit the White Ribbon Campaign, via Senator Leland Yee, a longtime supporter of WRC.Not to be confused with typical beauty pageants or body building contests, the Ginoong "works hard to serve the community" and the winners "shine for their committement to humanitarian efforts."
Supporting the event are American Idol contestants David Hernandez and Jordan Segundo, Broadway star Stephanie Reese and actress Sharon Leal.
